EuroAsianPacific Joint Conference on Cognitive Science:
4th European Conference on Cognitive Science
10th International Conference on Cognitive Science
The EuroAsianPacific Joint Conference on Cognitive Science will be held in Torino, Italy, September 25-27, 2015.
The event is co-organized by the Cognitive Science Society and the International Association for Cognitive Science.
The main goal of the conference is to join the forces of two prominent conference series in the interdisciplinary field of Cognitive Science, the European Cognitive Science Conference (EuroCogsci) and the International Conference on Cognitive Science (ICCS).

Program of the conference
The program will start on Friday, September 25, at 8:30 a.m. and finish on Sunday, September 27, at 1:30 p.m (http://www.eapcogsci2015.it/program/).
The Program Committee of the Conference has accepted about 140 paper submissions from all over the world and 10 symposia. The plenary lectures of the conference will be:
Nicholas Humphrey, “The invention of consciousness” (September 25)
Frédérique de Vignemont, “Whose body matters?” (September 26)
Giacomo Rizzolatti and Josef Perner, joint lecture “Social cognition: mirrors and perspectives” (September 26)
Minoru Asada “How to develop artificial empathy? – an affective and cognitive developmental robotics approach” (September 27)
On September 25, the Conference will host the 2015 Mind&Brain Prize Award Ceremony (http://www.mentecervello.it/home/node/206). The 2015 winners areNicholas Humphrey and Frédérique de Vignemont.
Satellite event: The Placebo Effect

Venue
EAP CogSci 2015 will be held in the beautiful "Cavallerizza Reale", the former royal stable, newly restructured in the heart of Turin's historical downtown.
Turin, surrounded by rolling green hills with snowy Alpine peaks in the background, is a cultural city, the fascinating centre of northern Italy and it was the location of the 2006 Winter Olympic Games. The historic centre is filled with sumptuous baroque palaces and art nouveau mansions, and a labyrinth of shady arcades lined with fashion boutiques, cafés, and romantic restaurants serving delicious Piedmonts’ cuisine.
